Commissioned Research
Since completing my Doctorate in 2015 I have undertaken several short, commissioned pieces of qualitative research. A number have been for the Ministry Division of the Church of England, looking at various aspects of ministerial training or responses to spiritual resources.
Given that I understand the British Church and cultural context well, have considerable experience of interviewing people about personal and sometimes difficult topics, and academic analytic skills, I am ideally positioned to explore the realities of religious belief in contemporary life. I am happy to discuss any research commission around these areas.

Ruth has undertaken several pieces of research to help us better understand the complexities of discipleship and faith formation and evaluate the impact of resources. Ruth’s project management and direct engagement in qualitative research is ideally suited to this task and has helped generate key insights.
